2020 Service Pickup and Drop-off Protocols

For Curbside PARTS Pick ups.

Upon arrival at the dealership please text us at 705-738-5152 to make us aware of your arrival. Your parts will be bagged and placed outside the front gate to the dealership side of the brown cardinal vault with your name in black marker on the outside. If you do not see your name our staff will reply to your text with specific instructions as to its location. If your bag is out front please check it over and text our staff again to let us know that you have checked it over and also if you see any issues with it. Although we do our best to sanitize everything we encourage you to use gloves while picking up, wash your hands after pick up and let your parts sit for 48 hours before use.

 

For Curbside Boat Pick ups

Upon arrival at the dealership please text us at 705-738-5152 to make us aware of your arrival. If you do not see your boat out front our staff will reply to your text with specific instructions as to its location. If your unit is out front please check it over and text our staff again to let us know that you have checked it over and also if you see any issues with it. Although we do our best to sanitize every unit we encourage you to use gloves while hooking up, wash your hands after hook up and let your boat sit for 48 hours before use.

 

For Pick ups

Upon arrival at the dealership please text us at 705-738-5152 to make us aware of your arrival. Upon entering through the gate please take an immediate right. Your boat will be staged waiting for you. Please check your boat over and text our staff again to let us know that you have checked it over and also if you see any issues with it. Although we do our best to sanitize every unit we encourage you to use gloves while removing tire chalks and hooking up (and dispose after use in the garbage can provided), sanitize your hands before getting back in your vehicle and we strongly advise you to let your boat sit for 48 hours before use.

 

For Boat Drop offs (Open gate)

Upon arrival at the dealership please take an immediate right. Stay in the lane closest to the building and text us at 705-738-5152. We ask that for everyones safety you kindly stay inside the vehicle at all times. You will be visually directed by our staff to the location for your unit. Upon reaching this location for the safety of our staff please put your vehicle in park and turn it off while your boat is being unhooked. Our staff will unhook your boat and visually acknowledge that this is complete. You will then promptly exit the property. 

 

In addition to this we will need to ensure that a work order has been completed over the phone with one of our service staff prior to drop off. Staff will provide you with an electronic version of this work order for your review. Please make sure that you let us know promptly if there is anything that is missing.

 

For Boat Deliveries

Upon arrival at the drop off location our driver will text you at the number you provided to make you aware of our arrival. Our driver will wait until it is safe to enter the ramp and will proceed to the launch. Before launching our driver will stop at the top of the ramp, put the vehicle in park, walk around the unit, remove tie downs and then get back in his truck  He will honk his horn to let you know it is safe to proceed at which point you can exit your vehicle and approach your boat. Please check your boat over, then climb aboard and sit firmly at the helm. Once you are secured at the helm please give our driver a wave and he will slowly back down the ramp. Please be sure to remain seated at all times.  Once in the water our driver will exit the truck, please wait to start your unit until this point. The driver will then unhook the boat and you will then back down slowly. Although we do our best to sanitize every unit and have it sit for 48 hours prior to delivery for your safety we strongly encourage you to use gloves upon receipt of the boat, sanitize your hands after exiting your boat and we strongly advise you to let your boat sit for 48 hours before use.

 

 

For Boat Purchase on water demonstrations

Upon arrival the dealership we ask that you pull into the parking lot and park in the designated parking spot to the left. Remain in your vehicle and text 705-738-5151 that you have arrived. Our on-water demonstrator will pull out of the driveway to your right with your new boat in tow. Please follow him to Happy Days Houseboats where we will facilitate your touchless on-water delivery process. 

 

Upon arrival at Happy Days please park in the designated parking spot and wait in your vehicle until the boat is in the water and the on water delivery captain gives you a wave that it is safe to proceed. Please proceed directly to the boat and take care boarding. Once seated at the helm please pick up the marine radio that will be waiting for you. The on water delivery captain will give you further step by step instructions from there via the radio provided. The on water delivery captain will be running along side you giving you instruction on your new boat and answering any questions you might have. You may find it helpful to utilize your first mate to help operate the radio while the captain focuses on operation of the vessel.

 

Although we do our best to sanitize every unit and have it sit for 48 hours prior to delivery for your safety we strongly encourage you to use the gloves provided during the test, sanitize your hands after exiting your boat and we strongly advise you disinfect the unit again once you take it home.
