As a family owned and operated corporation we share something closely in common with our customers— the love for family boating. Much of our team are boating enthusiasts themselves and for good reason.
Our mission here is to ensure that boating families can spend more time out on the water with less time spent on the details. Every aspect from picking your ideal boat, servicing, body work, upholstery, storage, and all accessories and in betweens is all handled at Buckeye Marine.
4 Generations of History
Our company motto is "We Care" and that hasn't changed since Grandpa Tom Thompson started the business as a bait and tackle shop with boat rentals and sporting goods sales in 1949. The tradition continued on and Buckeye grew, adding mechanical expertise, expanding the business to include sales and service of boats and motors. Eventually this took the business to a new level in 1989 when they moved the marine business to the large boat sales and service facility built on the highway, where it stands today.
We've seen our industry and our community grow and evolve for decades and that wealth of experience is what guides us in every facet of what we do.

All service staff have undergone extensive training with the industry’s leading manufacturers. Our sales and product consultants frequently attend annual manufacturer training meetings; staying tuned in and up to date with what’s happening in the marine industry.

Boating follows us outside of just work and into our personal lives. We are proud to offer you a one stop shop in our 6,000 square foot facility that includes all of the amenities needed to get you out on the water.
Our facility includes a top notch mechanical technicians shop, a full fibreglass and detailing shop, indoor and outdoor storage, custom canvas and upholstery shop, quonset hut and more.
