You have likely heard a lot about Bobcaygeon in the news recently and we want to assure you that regardless of how the current situation progresses, Buckeye will continue to be here serving both your boating needs, and the needs of our community.
In hearing from some of our customers, we know that this time of social distancing has boaters anxiously awaiting the stress relief and freedom of getting out on the water! We want you to know that we will do all we can to ensure that happens in the safest way possible, for you and your family as well as our team members and their respective families. This process will, out of necessity, look different than it has in the past.
We also recognize that many Canadians have been facing increased challenges and a sense of uncertainty about the future. We want you to know that we are here for you. If you decide to "take a break" from boating for the upcoming season please let us know as soon as possible. Given the current climate, if we are given notice of cancellation a minimum of 2 weeks prior to your original spring date, we will waive our summer storage fee and offer you a discounted rate for the 2020/21 storage season.
Our management team has been working continuously, evolving our plans and processes, anticipating the challenges ahead for this seasons launch (eg. access to launch ramps, delayed openings of resorts and trailer parks, social distancing, etc.). We assure you that with increased communication and flexibility between Buckeye and our customers, we will minimize the potential impact, and find solutions that benefit us all.
To help us navigate this season we ask for your patience and request your help in setting a predetermined appointment. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
- Are you planning to take your boat this season?
- Your desired pickup/ delivery/launch date. This will help us plan our strategy, and will be revised as the current environment changes.
PLEASE NOTE: This applies to ALL units in storage. For 2020 given the shortened time-frame and increased restrictions, we will NOT be preparing any boat for pick-up or delivery until contacted / authorized by you.
As the road ahead becomes more clear, we will further our conversation and contact you with updates as required. We understand that our customer’s health and well being are irrevocably bound to our own, and we sincerely believe that whatever your personal circumstance, we will stand united as your partner in boating. The times ahead may be challenging, but as we in the boating community support one another, we will fulfill the adage "A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats". Together we WILL navigate the uncharted waters ahead successfully!
