Clean Boater Program

Become a clean boater today! Joining the clean boater program is one way boaters can ensure our waterways stay clean. The OMOA, along with over twenty marine industry professionals and Ontario's boaters' and anglers' associations formed the Clean Marine Partnership to develop a voluntary program of "Environmental Best Practices" for the marine industry that is recognized as the leader in North America. OMOA member marinas have been enrolling in the Clean Marine Program to ensure that their marinas are following these environmentally sound practices and protecting our waterways for all to enjoy. Ontario Marine Operators Association

The Ontario Marine Operators Association is the association of 500 marinas, marine dealers, yacht clubs, and associated companies. These organizations have been working together since 1967 with a common goal of promoting recreational boating in Ontario. Its members are engaged in boat sales, service and amenities for recreational boaters. This link will help boaters find places to moor permanently or for transient trips.

 

Smart Boater

The Smart Boater website was created by the Canadian Safe Boating Council to promote safe and responsible boating. This website is a one stop place for recreational boaters, the media, and boating educators to obtain information about safe and responsible boating in an informative and relevant manner.

 

 

Trailer Boating Canada

Trailer Boating Canada is a new Canadian marine media vehicle designed to attract more people into boating. It is an exciting new marine communications platform in coordinated print and electronic formats. Water Ski & Wakeboard Ontario

This is a non-profit organization affiliated with Water Ski Canada that acts as a governing body for water skiing and wakeboarding in Ontairo. Check out their site to find out about upcoming events in your area. Look for one of Buckeye's MasterCrafts acting as this year's tow boat.

 

Toronto Boat Show

Take the family to Canada's largest marine marketplace, showcasing more than 1,000 paddle boats, runabouts, fishing boats, performance boats, sport boats, sailboats and luxury yachts, plus engine manufacturer displays and acres of marine gifts and accessories. The 2012 Toronto Boat Show will take place at the Direct Energy Centre from January 14th-22nd.
