Thank you for your support in 2020

2020 has been a year that nobody will soon forget.  For avid boaters, this is due in part to what ended up being an amazing boating season! For many of you, this year meant the ability to live and work from the cottage exclusively.  Lack of travel, a strong focus on social distancing, combined with weeks of blue skies and 30-degree days meant that boating was THE thing to do. Not only did we hear about increased use from our existing customer base, we also welcomed a number of new boaters into our Buckeye Family and for that we are very grateful.

As boats are now in isolation for the winter, we look at 2021 and the changes that will come along with it. As with most industries, the boat business is seeing an increased demand resulting in a decrease of inventory.  Our team is actively working across all departments to overcome this. To date, two of our manufacturers have announced they are sold out for the 2021 model year.  I am sure our other brands are not far behind making the same announcement.  We will have some inventory, but it will be a limited supply.  Act now and secure your new boat for 2021!

We recognise that this new boat shortage will mean boaters may add some more life into their current boat. Adding features such as a tower, sound system, new canvas, vinyl repairs or giving it a facelift with a compound, buff and wax. Our parts and service staff are here and ready to help your old boat look and run new again.

Perhaps one of the biggest changes for the coming season is the cancellation of the 2021 Toronto Boat Show.  While we strongly support the decision, we will miss seeing friendly customer faces in our winter season. With that said, our team is working on some new ways to remain in contact and add some summer to your winter. Stay tuned to our upcoming emails and social media accounts for tips, how-to guides, contests, industry, and insider updates and more.

On behalf of our entire team at Buckeye, thank you for a great season and we look forward to 2021!
